The Pudil Family Foundation Supported the National Gallery's Exhibition "Artists and Prophets"
This exhibition connects the most influential Czech abstract artist and spiritualist, František Kupka, to other resonating modernists, such as Egon Schiele, Joseph Beuys or Friedensreich Hundetwasser, all accompanied by their „barefooted prophets“. The Pudil Family Foundation appreciates this original curatorial approach, therefore it decided to support the „Artists and prophets“.
The exhibition is also complemented by a program of lectures which enables the visitors to deepen their knowledge in art history and so to gain a new perspective on the exhibited artworks. The Pudil Family Foundation warmly welcomes this interactive and educative dimension of the exhibition.
It is important to stress that the quality of the exhibited artworks is assured by the prominent German institution, Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt, which was preparing the "Artists and prophets". International cooperation with such professional institutions also goes along the vision of The Pudil Family Foundation.
The exhibition Artists and Prophets is open daily from 10 to 18h in Veletržní palác in Prague, until 18 October 2015.
The Pudil Family Foundation is an open non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the understanding and appreciation of Czech and international modern and contemporary art through the realization of innovative exhibitions, research and educational projects.
