The series of educational lectures “I Like It – I Do Not Like It Anymore: To Be a Parent in New Media Age”, presented as part of the Fotograf Festival, considered the question of how to bring up children in the digital world. The lectures were aimed at helping parents update their approach to child-rearing in view of the demands of the new media, IT and the “connected” world.

Called Eye in the Sky, this year’s Fotograf Festival – the seventh to date – addresses issues concerning the internet and the shift from an analogue to a digital way of thinking. The motif of the “heavenly eye” symbolizes an anonymous power that watches us ceaselessly not only in the digital world but beyond it.  Besides lectures, the festival programme includes screenings, exhibitions and discussions.

The educational programme “Being a Parent in the New Media Age” took place on 21 October 2017. The Fotograf Festival runs until 3 November 2017.
